Image The Tour de Vézelay is inspired by our commitment to pilgrimage, the spirituality of Vézelay and the beautiful surroundings. The Tour connects old and new pilgrimage routes to and from Vézelay. You can walk the Tour in about a week.Along the way, you may sometimes feel as if you are walking through a large, winding labyrinth formed by river valleys, forests, farmlands and vineyards. Sometimes you become absorbed in the landscape, only to suddenly see the basilica on “the eternal hill” in the distance.The basilica is located between forests and fields. One moment you are walking among the trees of a hillside forest, half an hour later among the columns of the basilica. In this way, you are invited to cross thresholds again and again, from inside to outside and vice versa, and from the hustle and bustle of modern life to the mysticism of ancient times.
